Fall 2007

The fall season started with a bang. We have had so many visitors and activities for the children and residents. We had Accordion Pat play for both the children and residents at FBH. Mike Kornrich, a favorite of ours, also played for the children and residents. Deputy Dan came to talk to the children about Halloween safety.

Speaking of Halloween, the children, staff and residents all enjoyed an amazing parade through FBH as well as Fairport Apts. The children all participated in a pumpkin decorating contest. The Nest, Bear Cave and Hummingbirds all won prizes for their creativity.

As the season continues, our New Horizons class will be learning about the first Thanksgiving. Turkeys are all over the center: handprints, footprints, feathers, paints, paper plates have all been used to make crafts for the holiday. Any visitor to Seasons would see all the photos and projects; proof of how busy the children and staff have been.

Our Philosophy
It is our belief that children learn by doing. Through active involvement with their environment, children develop a better understanding of the world around them. At Seasons Child Care, our "World of Wonder and Wisdom" emphasizes human values of loving, caring and remembering. We focus on the individual needs of each child for his or her health, safety and well being. Our expert staff provides supportive guidance and quality programming through their knowledge of child growth and development. Our Intergenerational Program offers a unique approach for the young and old to develop relationships through discovery. The richness of the elders' life experience combined with the exuberance of children creates something truly extraordinary.
